Who we are

Footing Financial is the financial team for construction companies, providing CFO leadership through back-office support, based in Miami, Florida and serving businesses across the United States. This policy explains how we handle information collected through this website (footingfinancial.com) and in the course of our work. You can reach us at finance@footingfinancial.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us: when you use the contact form or book a call, the details you provide, such as your name, company, email address, and message, are used to respond to you and to deliver our services.

Information collected automatically: our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and to operate the site. We do not currently run advertising or analytics trackers.

Business financial information and creditworthiness

To deliver our services, and when we evaluate a prospective client, borrower, or counterparty in the United States, we collect financial information about the business, such as bank balances and activity, accounting records, payment history, and credit standing. Some of this is gathered through Stripe's financial-data tools, which securely connect (read-only) to a business's bank, accounting, or payment data with the account holder's approval. We do not process payments or move funds through this site.

We use this information to run the CFO function we are engaged for, to assess a business's financial health and creditworthiness, and for due diligence and fraud prevention. This information concerns businesses rather than individuals. Where any personal data is involved, for example a business owner or guarantor, we handle it in line with this policy. Stripe processes this data on our behalf, and in some cases as an independent controller under its own terms. We collect only what we need and keep it only as long as the engagement or the law requires.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to respond to enquiries, to provide and improve our services, to operate and secure the site, and to meet our legal and professional obligations. We do not sell your information.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to run the site and our services, including website hosting (Vercel) and financial-data services (Stripe). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

Cookies

This site uses only what is strictly necessary to serve the pages. See our Cookie Policy for detail. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.

How long we keep it

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymize it.

Your choices

You control what financial accounts you link, and you can disconnect them at any time. To ask about the information we hold, or to request access or deletion, email finance@footingfinancial.com.
